How to Delete Your GrowTide Account

Delete your account and all family data from inside the app, or contact us if you can't access the app.

This page explains how to delete your GrowTide account, how to remove an individual child profile, what data is permanently deleted, what is retained and for how long, and how to cancel an active subscription. If you have questions, email [email protected].

Delete in the app (recommended)

  1. Open GrowTide.
  2. Sign in as a parent.
  3. Tap Settings (parent settings screen).
  4. Scroll to the bottom.
  5. Tap Delete Account (or Leave Family if a co-parent exists).
  6. Type DELETE to confirm.
  7. Re-enter your password.
  8. Tap Delete.

You'll be signed out. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

What gets deleted permanently

Co-parent accounts

If your family has more than one parent, deleting your account leaves the family intact for the remaining parent(s). Children, jobs, and data are retained. Only your access and personal record are removed.

Deleting an individual child

What is retained, and for how long

Soft-deleted children 14 days, then permanent deletion
Job proof photos (general) 90 days after parent approval, then auto-deleted
Authentication and security logs Up to 90 days for fraud prevention
Subscription audit events Up to 90 days
RevenueCat platform records Governed by RevenueCat's retention policy (see RevenueCat privacy policy)
Firebase Analytics events Retention configured in Google Analytics (anonymized; cannot be tied to a deleted account)

Active subscriptions — important

Deleting your account does NOT cancel your iOS or Google Play subscription. Cancel your subscription before deleting your account, or you'll continue being charged.
